We had the BEST pilot, Marcus, and it was the highlight of our vacation in Las Vegas...He was informative with lots of facts and also gave us any advance warning of expected turbulence. Loved the picnic lunch and once again he made it very enjoyable... We intend to do the night flight over the Las Vegas strip on our next trip there.. This was a great, great experience. Of course, the canyon and other scenery was breathtaking. Logan, our pilot, was outstanding...professional, personable, knowledgeable...just a great guy. He has lots of experience...including military. I am a private pilot, but am now contemplating helicopter lessons because of him! You must to do this helicopter tour when you go to Vegas. Costs a bit, but worth it! 4 hrs door to door, time well spent.
Wonderful experience from start to finish! Easy to book with one phone call, driver picked us up from our hotel and took us to Maverick's location. Friendly staff and comfortable lounge area. Zach was our excellent pilot, felt 100% confident with him flying. He was both professional and personal, had great knowledge of the area and offered facts/stories but he also made it a point to know each of us by name and joked around with us a little bit. Landing on the floor of the Grand Canyon and then being able to explore on foot was simply amazing. The light champagne breakfast capped off the experience. When we arrived back at the airport, the driver took us back to our hotel. We ordered the dvd and photo package and was fun to re-live the experience of the day. Thanks to Maverick for a fantastic experience! We would definitely recommend Maverick.
I am from the UK, having walked the Strip looking for a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon, I decided to talk to the staff in the Luxor hotel where I was staying. They recommended your company. From the pick-up in a immaculate transport mini bus to the ultra clean reception building, everything was spot on, the briefing, the pilot, the actual tour, everything was faultless. My daughter and I LOVED our helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon! Our pilot was warm, funny and knowledgeable. The Grand Canyon tour would have been amazing regardless of who flew the helicopter, but BJ made it even more memorable. Thank you for an experience we will never forget!
