Tour Itinerary

Journey with us on this exciting Grand Canyon Bus Tour, cross the mighty Hoover Dam and travel to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Explore the sacred and pristine lands of the Hualapai Indians.

Enjoy a hot breakfast at a local restaurant on the way to the canyon, then cross over the Hoover Dam for a photo stop at the overlook and then on the new Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, before continuing into the Southwest desert of Arizona where you’ll enter a mysterious 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forrest, the gateway to the homelands of the Hualapai (Wa-la-pai) Indians.

Grand Canyon Bus Tour of the West Rim…

Upon arrival to the Western Rim, you’ll see incredible views of the high cliffs and sheer walls of the Canyon.

Here along the edge of the rim are the most incredible unobstructed views and stunning canyon scenery…

Lunch Included

Following your lunch inside at the SkyView Restaurant ( prefered choice ) , then  it’s time to explore this wonder of nature, practically unblemished by modern civilization. See the Great Thunderbird image nature created high in the mountains along with many other unusual formations.

Views of  Eagle and Guano Point

Experience Two Spectacular Lookouts at Eagle and Guano Point…You’ll have plenty of time to explore on your own and witness the wonders of this pristine land…

The views are incredible and the photo opportunities are of National Geographic Quality.

For a glimpse at local and regional tribal heritage and traditions, take a self-guided tour through Eagle Point’s authentic Native American Village. Stroll along the path lined with traditionally built housing, ovens and sweat lodges and be amazed at the unique architecture, style and functionality of each structure and feature. As you explore the grounds, imagine a simpler time when Hualapai, Navajo, Plains, Hopi, Havasupai and other Native American tribes roamed the lands. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (10:00am – 3:00pm) at the outdoor amphitheater, sit back in a shady spot to enjoy the musical sounds and magical dances of the Hualapai Tribe.

Dramatic viewpoints and hikes. One of the most dramatic viewpoints of the Grand Canyon is at Guano Point, boasting stunning 360-degree views of the Canyon and what’s left of the $3.5 million aerial tramway system built in 1957.

Your journey begins at Guano Point on Highpoint Hike. This railingless trail delivers you to the remnants of a historic tram that stands today as a monument to man’s attempt to mine the canyon. The tram once stretched 8,800 feet across the canyon to a guano mine. As you gaze out across the expansive canyon, let thoughts of the brave souls who attempted to mine nitrogen-rich guano for fertilizer from the guano cave discovered in 1930 fill your mind. For 20 years, these miners rode the aerial tramway to cross the river spanning 7,500 feet with a vertical lift of 2,500 feet.

Upon conclusion of your tour of the Grand Canyon West Rim, you’ll have even more photo opportunities and beautiful native scenery as you make your return to Las Vegas and arriving with ample time for dinner ( 5 – 6 PM ) and a show…

Eagle Point Shopping

You’ll find treasures and keepsakes to remind you of your visit to Grand Canyon West at one of four places to shop.

Grab your souvenirs at one of two Grand Canyon West gift shops. You’ll find Grand Canyon West, Sky Walk and Route 66 memorabilia, including t-shirts, coffee mugs and postcards at the Skywalk Main Terminal and inside Skywalk. Take home Native American treasures from Creations by Native Hands Gift Shop at the Indian Village at Eagle Point. Discover a unique collection of gifts, such as soaps made with traditional herbs used by indigenous peoples. If you’re lucky, you’ll find the Native American Flea Market open at Guano Point, offering handcrafted creations sold directly by local Hualapai and other Native American artisans.

Explore the Native American Flea Market and Hualapai Market where you can see and buy authentic hand-made Indian souvenirs, curios, and art objects the craftsmen of the reservation have on display. ( Weather permitting )

Currently on route back to Vegas from our tour to Hoover Dam and the West Rim. We've had the fantastic with Walter as our driver/tour guide. A fantastic day out and a couple of items knocked off the bucket list. So much more awe inspiring than I anticipated. Cannot recommend this trip enough!!!

We were the first couple to be picked up and were met "early" by Jackie, our driver. She is amazing, has a sense of humor, and full of knowledge. Every part of the trip we learned something we didn't know. The bus ride was enjoyable, it was great to have a morning snack and unlimited water. It's not that much, but it's the little differences which make it so great. The Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon were incredible. The skywalk is well worth the couple extra bucks. ALso Jackie recommended where to eat and what to eat and she was 1000% on target. Again ... Thank you for a great time. We will be back!

So last Wednesday, my husband and I took a trip with SWEETours to the Hoover Dam and the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Our tour was fantastic! The driver Dwayne Bennett made the day so enjoyable. It was fascinating to see such wonders and at the same time be entertained by a very funny man. I would highly recommend this trip and I would (if you can) but in a request for Dwayne....guaranteed a fabulous day!

We recently took a bus trip to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. I just wanted to let you know we absolutely loved it. Our driver Dwayne completely made our entire trip. He was personable, knowledgeable and funny. The next time we come back we will definitely try to make sure we're on his bus! Thanks Dwayne for a great trip! *The Wisconsin Newlyweds*

My wife and I did the Hoover Dam and West Rim of the Grand Canyon Tour out of Vegas. Our driver/tour guide Anthony was fantastic. He was funny, informative and gave us tips on how to get the most out of the time we had at the West Rim. I highly recommend SweeTours!

We took the Hoover dam and Grand Canyon west rim tour. We were a little hesitant at first due to the time of departure which was 6:00am and it being a all day tour. But I'm so happy we did go because we had a awesome time! Dwayne our bus driver was awesome, he kept us entertained! He pointed out and told us about different sites along the way. He always included everyone on the bus. He gave us advice about what to do and how to be safe, not only on the tour but staying in Vegas also. We were picked up at our hotel, they gave us orange juice, water, muffins, banana and crackers on the bus. For lunch at the Grand Canyon, we had baked chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes with gravy, roll, salad and a cookie. It was great to eat at a picnic table on side of the canyon. It was a great trip from the time we were picked up till the time we were dropped off at the hotel!

We took the 7:15 am tour of the Grand Canyon West Rim tour with the Hoover Dam as a stop. It was convenient because the bus picked us up at our hotel on the strip and dropped us off. The coach bus was comfortable and cool with a funny and informative driver/guide. The trip includes plenty of cold water, breakfast bag and lunch ticket for the location (Note: lunch ticket doesn't include location's full menu). The driver made a couple of snack and bathroom break stops to break up the ride to the Canyon and back. I would definitely recommend this company for your Vegas tours.

It was my moms birthday so we are in vegas and booked the west rim and Hoover dam tour. It was great. Our your guide/driver Duane was amazing. Our adventure was a 12 hour day but we took several breaks along the way and learned some things as well. We are very pleased with the sweet tours company, Duane and the expierence of being ablento take a big bus that entire way with a cute breakfast being provided as well as a good lunch at a western style location.
