This is my second trip with Maverick and it was sooo amazing! It even outdid my first trip! My brother and I experienced the Canyon Dream this time around. You board a small aircraft and fly to the Grand Canyon South Rim. The pilots were friendly and warm. The aircraft is very small, only fitting about 20 people. The ride was smooth and takes around 40 minutes to get to the Canyon. We got off the plane and boarded a very adorable trolley with a tour guide. He took us up the road to a rest stop and the landing pads for the helicopters. We then boarded the helicopter for the trip of a lifetime! The helicopter ride takes you inside of the Canyon! It's so vast, spanning miles and the rock formations are beautiful. This is the deepest part of the Canyon. The mountains were just awe inspiring. Our helicopter pilot Tyler was very knowledgeable offering interesting facts about the magnificent Canyon. We headed back to the landing area and when we landed we could rest up for a few minutes then headed back to the trolley. Our tour guide Michael was funny, full of passion, and gave us great tips on what to look out for inside the National Park. Inside the park we received a boxed lunch and spent about 40 minutes exploring on our own and taking breathtaking photos while enjoying our lunch. You get back on the trolley and head to the aircraft for your return flight. Maverick is so amazing it's no wonder they are rated #1 for tours. Their customer service is great and safety is always a priority. I would recommend time and time again!

The whole company is really well represented by efficient and welcoming people. We booked the fly to the Grand Canyon south rim by airplane and we had the best time possible. The driver who picked us up at the hotel was very nice, polite and knew his business. He told us stories about Las Vegas as we progressed to the special airport. Once we arrived, the wait for check in was maybe 10 minutes and soon we were greeted by the pilots and walked tot the 18 seats little plane. It was hot but as soon as we were at 15000 feet, we were allowed to go about the plane to take pictures and even to go to the cockpit and take a selfie with the pilots. Scary but fun. Throughout the whole flight the pilot pointed out things to see and facts about the Grand Canyon and its region. Once we arrived at the airport we met Bruce, our awesome driver, and we were brought to the Heli pad for those who had a helicopter ride in the canyon. Within 5 minutes we were back to the bus and we want to the observatory area of the Grand Canyon. We had 45 minutes which was plenty for pictures and admiring the view. From there we went to bright angel lodge and had a picnic box offered by the company. It was not something I could eat as it was not vegetarian or sugar free, but I was able to get something at the local coffee shop. From there we went back to the airport. Bruce told us the history of the Grand Canyon, facts about the people living in the park and even slowed down for us to take pictures of elks along the road. The company, at booking, had told us 5 and a half hours for the whole thing, and we took off at 2pm and walked out of our bus to the hotel at 7.30pm. Overall it is a long day and I don't suggest this for children and people with disabilities, as three is a lot of waking and many stairs to take up and down. But it was a day to remember and I look forward to return to Las Vegas and go back tot the Grand Canyon with maverick airlines. MARLEE My friend and I went on the Canyon Dreams tour--AMAZING! We boarded a tiny airplane with our wonderful pilots, ET (Eric) and Sherman. Really funny and knowledgable guys. The flight to the South rim is only 45 minutes and then Bruce (also funny and awesome) picked us up to take us to the helicopter over the Grand Canyon. We rode with Alex and he was also great! Everyone at Maverick was so friendly, welcoming, and provided exceptional guest service. Bring a sweater for the plane--it's chilly!

Took my mother on the Canyon Dream Tour yesterday and it was amazing. Not just the views because that goes without saying, but the crew/staff made it a great experience. They were extremely friendly, proffesional and humorous! The facility, planes and shops were fresh and well maintained All the way to the parking lot they were gracious, and made me feel like they appreciated our business. BRUCE was my shuttle driver, so helpful. My Advice...? The helicopter tour is an absolute must for a thorough experience, definately worth every penny. My pilot was CORY and he made it very adventurous and cracked me up! Spectacular views I could'nt have fathomed. Definately bring a jacket. Consider the change in elevation. You can leave it on the plane/bus so may as well just in case. Bring a snack(s) because it's a long day! Be on time because they expect you to be there when they call your name (no sign-in sheet) It's not neccessary to buy a water atthe rest stop if your trip inlcudes a boxed lunch (it comes with water) water is $3 They offer meatless options on the boxed lunch Bring a camera because cell phones just can't zoom in on all the vastness. Take a picture with the crew!! When you return to the building they'll have both of your pictures there so you can decide which one you like best (they offer the purchase right after helicopter tour)
